Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 July 2026
This policy explains what data Fixation collects and why. It is written with UK GDPR in mind. The data controller is the operator of Fixation, contactable at privacy@fixation.gg.
What we collect
Account data: your email address, or the identifier from your Steam or Google sign-in. If you link Steam, we store your public Steam ID to match you to public Deadlock match history.
Public match data: Deadlock match statistics sourced from the deadlock-api dataset. This is already public and is not personal data we collect from you.
Usage data: basic analytics (pages viewed, general location, device type) to run and improve the Service.
Why we use it (lawful bases)
To provide the Service and your account (contract); to run analytics and secure the site (legitimate interests); and, where required, with your consent (e.g. non-essential cookies and personalised ads). Payment data is handled by our merchant of record — we never see your full card details.
Advertising
Free tiers may show ads. Where ads are personalised, we ask for consent first and you can withdraw it at any time. Premium is ad-free.
Sharing
We share data only with processors that help run the Service — authentication and database hosting, our payments merchant of record, and analytics — under data-processing terms. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to certain processing. Email privacy@fixation.gg and we’ll respond within one month. You can delete your account from your settings, which removes your account data and any linked Steam identifier.
Retention & changes
We keep account data while your account is active and delete it on request. We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
